Lauretti Lecture

Monday, May 6, 2019 | 6:30 P.M.
Savannah Theater | 222 Bull Street

This year’s lecture will feature Tom Mayes, deputy general counsel for the National Trust for Historic Preservation, who will discuss Why Old Places Matter, the subject of his most recent book. A free public reception will follow, where Mr. Mayes will be available to sign copies of his book.

Named for Louise Lauretti, a devoted preservation advocate and supporter of HSF who lost her battle with melanoma in 2014, this annual lecture series invites the most renowned names in preservation from all over the country to speak on present issues, current trends, and the future of preservation.

Attendance is free and open to the public.
