Davenport House Museum Fall Arts Festival Set for Saturday, Nov. 8

PHOTO: The Davenport House Museum’s Fall Arts Festival will offer free, family friendly fun on Saturday, November 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., including hands-on art projects, live music, food and an artisan vendor fair.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (Nov. 4, 2025)The Davenport House – an iconic c. 1820 historic house museum owned and operated by Historic Savannah Foundation – will host the second annual Davenport House Museum Fall Arts Festival, a vibrant celebration of more than two centuries of creativity, preservation and community, on Saturday, Nov. 8from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public and will take place at the Davenport House Museum and garden, located at 323 E. Broughton St. in Savannah, Ga., as well as in the Historic Kennedy Pharmacy and Columbia Square.

The Davenport House Museum Fall Arts Festival will showcase an artist vendor fair, offering a wide range of original art, prints, photography, jewelry and pottery. Featured local artists will include Lorry Bolton, Lacey Slatten, Ivan Chow, Pam Dykema, Laura Burch, Ainsley Tobler, Caitlin Kucsan, Molly Moran, Andrew Cresswell, Marianne McCarley and Margie Sone.

Live music will be provided by Susanna Kennedy, Cory Chambers and Hollee Spring. Pour Boy Mobile Barista, Nieve with Love Handcrafted Frozen Desserts and Provisions Wine and Groceries will serve as on-site food vendors.  

Additional event highlights will include hands-on art activities led by Salacia Salts and Savannah Technical College’s Historic Preservation Program as well as a collaborative community art project led by Calvin Thomas that will invite participants of all ages to contribute to a shared work of art.

In addition, the award-winning Davenport House Museum will be open for exploration, free of charge, and will offer special opportunities and interactive activities designed to connect the house’s history with Savannah’s arts community.

The Davenport House Museum Fall Arts Festival is made possible by the generous sponsorship of Garbutt Construction, a local construction company that is currently completing the Davenport House’s first major exterior restoration since 1993.

The Davenport House Museum is the historic 1820 Federal-style home and iconic Historic Savannah Foundation property that began the modern-day preservation movement in Savannah, Ga.
