Why Special Events?
Throughout the year, HSF hosts special events that aid in raising funds for our education and outreach programs, advocacy agendas, and community involvement initiatives. Revenues raised by our special events are crucial to the annual budget and we greatly appreciate the support of our sponsors, members, volunteers and event participants! Race for Preservation
Beginning with our Seacrest Partners Race for Preservation in February, HSF emphasizes the impact of preservation throughout our communities. The 10K/5K race features two historic parks, five historic neighborhoods and one race for preservation. This great family event is a part of the Fleet Feet Fabulous 14 Run Series. One of our community’s most loved events; simply known as “The Gala.” Each year, a venue is selected for its preservation relevance; the public announcement of which is greatly anticipated. Begin the evening with cocktail parties hosted in nearby private homes and continue with fine dining and dancing. Make this a “don’t miss” on your October calendar! Click here for details.
