For one weekend each spring, the Savannah Garden Exposition magically transforms a 19th – century railroad complex into the most distinctive and charming garden shows in the southeast. Celebrate Savannah’s unique heritage and garden history at the 10th Annual Savannah Garden Exposition. The Expo will take place Friday, April 23rd and Saturday, April 24th, rain or shine, at the Roundhouse Railroad Museum at 601 West Harris Street. Hours are 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Using this year’s theme “Going & Growing Green,” Exhibition Garden and Window Box competitors will showcase ways to be green, sustainable, and eco-friendly without compromising good design. In addition to the competitions, there will be an open-air market with growers, garden-related merchandise, hardscapes and much more; as well as the lecture series featuring Christine Eisner, author of Comfort Living: A Back-to-Basics Guide to a More Balanced Lifestyle and Buddy Lee of Encore Azaleas.

Other highlights and special events include a Preview Party/Silent Auction at 6:30pm on Thursday, April 22nd and a Wine Tasting & Garden Tour on Saturday, April 24th.

Daily general admission tickets are $10, with group discounts available. A 2-day pass is available for $18. Lecture tickets are $25 and include admission to the Expo. Children under the age of 12 are admitted free to the Expo.

All proceeds benefit the Historic Savannah Foundation and its museum property, The Isaiah Davenport House.
